Dear Global21 Community and Global World Citizens,

 
It is our distinct pleasure to welcome you to the Global21 Istanbul Conference which will take place from  Friday, 4 July to Thursday, 8 July in 2008 at the Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. About 30 members from all the Global21 Chapters around the world will come together to discuss and question the understandings on globalization with a critical and productive perspective, focusing on a variety of facets of the globalizing world. 

Global21 is a network of student-run international affairs publications at premier universities around the globe. We wish to add a new dimension to this network by creating a forum for debate among our members, which will help them make a difference in their environment, create a dialogue bearing tangible results and promote international understanding and cooperation.

The Istanbul Conference promises to be among most exciting experiences of Global21. We hope that the success of the conference will pave the way for future gatherings of the Global21 community to promote appreciation and understanding of diversity, and the improvement of the commucation among the chapters.
